Intruder Alarm Systems

Access Control Systems

The threat of physical damage to valuable equipment and records, or data theft by criminals or discontented employees, rises daily. Restricting personnel, contractors' or visitors' access to buildings or areas, is becoming ever more important.

We have vast experience in the area of access control and can recommend a suitable intruder alarm system from the many we regularly install. Whether it is to stop unwanted intruders passing the reception area unnoticed, or restricting access to certain areas within a building, we have the product to suit your circumstances and budget. Our intruder alarm systems can be push button, keypad coded, swipe card or operated using an electronic fob and scaled from single installations to major building systems.

Intruder alarm systems can use various technologies: pin code keypads, swipe cards, proximity cards or key fobs etc.

Audio Entry SystemsAudio Entry Systems are a cost effective method of allowing you to identify your caller before you open the door to them. Video Entry SystemsVideo Entry Systems are similar to Audio Entry Systems except you can see the identity of your caller before you open the door to them.
Coded Entry KeypadsCoded Entry Keypads are a cost effective method of allowing access through a single door. Codes can be periodically changed to enhance your security. DDA SystemsDDA Systems, these door entry panels and systems are designed to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
Card Entry SystemsCard Entry Systems are an ideal way of controlling access in and around your building. Systems range from standalone to multiple readers controlled by a PC. Cards can be programmed to only allow access into authorised areas.

fingerprint solution gives the following benefits:

  • Prevents the borrowing of cards to gain access to controlled areas
  • Reduces time and attendance fraud - prevents one employee swiping for another
  • May be used for identification or identity verification (to verify that the person swiping a card is the person authorised to use that card)
  • Fingerprint verification looks at the fingerprint presented and verifies it against the employee's swipe card or pin to confirm their identity.Fingerprint identification examines the fingerprint presented and checks against all the templates stored in the reader. To increase the chance of an accurate identification, the template size for an identification reader is approximately 6 times that for a verification reader. This increase in size, together with the increased numbers of templates being checked against, is the reason for the limitation on employee numbers when using a reader for verification.Personal data security : the reader never stores an actual fingerprint, instead it holds an algorithm - a mathematical representation - of the fingerprint, which is used to confirm employee identity. It is impossible to recreate a fingerprint from an algorithm, thereby ensuring total employee security.

Whatever your needs, from large security access control systems to minor entry system jobs, we offer the highest standards of care and equipment, giving you peace of mind for security.

Above all, our intruder alarm systems are designed to be exceptionally easy to use. As an independent company, we are able to specify a range of products available from professional manufacturing companies and leading security industry trade distributors.
